Gift #512

"How do you define 'real' ? If you're talking about what you can feel, smell, taste and see, then 'real' is simply electrical signals interpreted by your brain"
(Morpheus, in "The Matrix")

Reality has many definitions, but all of them have at least one point in common : there is a relation between what is inside you and what is outside you.

Reality varies according to the observer. Several animals on Earth, for instance, have access to different spectrums of visibility or audibility that terrestrial humans do not. Cats and dogs see black and white, and hear some sounds that humans are not able to hear.

The same ways we may have all the wealth in the world yet if we feel inadequate within the electrical signals in the brain will focus on the scarcity or just on whats missing and will make us go on an endless pursuit of wealth and happiness.

On the contrary if we believe we have enough then we can really enjoy what we have and create more abundance and joy around. Just as seen in the image where the boy seems to be having fun riding an elephant when there is no real elephant present.

Our perception of reality has a major impact on our happiness.
